Enkeleda (Eda) Bocaj Phd Candidate . Brief CV Enkeleda Bocaj was born on 1990 in Fier, Albania. She received a Bachelor degree in Automation Engineering from Piraeus University of Applied Science in 2016 and holds a Data Science MSc from the Department of Informatics of Athens University of Economics and Business. Experienced researcher with a demonstrated history of working in higher education institutes. She was a data analysis developer and machine learning engineer at the Polytechnic Institution of Bragança and has participated in several research and development projects. Her research interests include data mining, machine learning, statistics, and artificial intelligence. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering of the University of West Attica. The subject of his PhD research is associated with machine learning techniques and visualization in big data. Bocaj is working as a researcher in CoNSeRT team of Computer Networks Lab of Electronics Engineering Department of Piraeus University of Applied Sciences.
Dimitrios Kalyvas Phd Candidate . Brief CV Dimitris Kalyvas is a Ph.D student, on the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of University of West Attica, researching on the area of Cyber-physical Systems (CPS). Has an MSc Degree along with an Academic Excellence Award, in Internetworked Electronic Systems (2018) and a 4-year BSc Degree in Electronics Engineering (2014). He has a demonstrated history of working in R&D departments of the Electrical and Electronics manufacturing industry as a Microcontrollers - Embedded Systems Developer, Firmware and Software Developer. Christos Giannousis Phd Candidate . Brief CV Christos Giannousis received his Computer Engineering Bachelor's degree from the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences in 2017 and he holds a Master Degree (M.Sc.) in "Advanced Informatics and Computing Systems" from the University of Piraeus. Evangelos Katsadouros Phd Candidate . Brief CV Evangelos Katsadouros received his Computer Engineering Bachelor's degree from the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences in 2017 and he holds a master's degree from University of Piraeus in "Digital Systems Security". Currently he is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of the University of West Attica and the subject of his PhD is Network Security and Privacy. Also he is a research associate in CONSERT Lab, working as software/security engineer. His research interests include digital privacy, machine learning and software quality and testing.
Michael G. Xevgenis Post Doctoral Researchers . Brief CV Michael Xevgenis is a Post Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Industrial Design and Production Engineering of the University of West Attica and holds a PhD Degree from the same department. The subject of his PhD research is the Secure Resource Management in Next Generation Networks, where the Blockchain technology is one of the main fields of this study. In addition, he is a Researcher at the Computer Network and Services Research Team (CONSERT) of the University of West Attica. His research concerns are on the Networking and Cloud Computing sector. The last few years he has participated in two EU projects: the TRILLION and the STORM of H2020. Finally, he holds the Master in Data and Networking Communications of Kingston University in collaboration with TEI of Piraeus.
Christos Chatzigeorgiou Phd Candidate . Brief CV Christos Chatzigeorgiou, received the Bachelor’s degree in "Electronics Engineering" and the M.Sc. degree in "Internetworked Electronic Systems" from the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences, Aigaleo, Greece. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, University of West Attica. His research interests include mobile and wearable computing, privacy, internet of things, and machine learning.
Panagiotis Kasnesis Senior Researcher . Brief CV Panagiotis Kasnesis holds a Ph.D degree in computer science from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Moreover, he received his Diploma degree in chemical engineering and his M.Sc. in techno-economic systems from the NTUA, in 2008 and 2013 respectively. His research interests include machine/deep learning, Semantic Web technologies, multiagent systems, and the Internet of Things, while he has published and presented more than 20 scientific articles in international journals and conferences in these fields. He is a machine learning engineer and semantic application developer at the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering of the University of West Attica (UniWA) and has participated in several European research and development projects. Finally, he is certified as Instructor and University Ambassador, by NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI), in the tasks of Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision.

He holds a diploma and an MBA from the Agricultural University of Athens, and a PhD in “Certification Systems in Agriculture”. He has participated as a researcher and financial coordinator in several National, European and International programs and has expertise in the planning and execution of trials, and design of evaluation scenarios.
