Lazaros Toumanidis, has received his Electronics Engineering Bachelor’s degree from the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences in 2014. He was honored with the “Anastasiadis Award” for having the highest grade (8.79 / 10) among the year 2014 graduates of the Department of Electronics. He has worked as a Software Engineer and has been a research associate of CONSERT since 2016. He has successfully participated in several European and National research projects. His research interests include Web, Mobile and Wearable Computing, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing and Crowds(ourc/ens)ing. Currently he is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of the University of West Attica on the topic of Human-in-the-loop Machine Learning for enhancing situational awareness.
