Maria Polychronaki Research associate . Brief CV Maria Polychronaki was born in Athens on 1995 and is a senior student at the Electrical & Electronics Engineering department of University of West Attica. Main focus of her thesis was the benefits that REST architecture can provide to the communication layers of Internet of Things systems and how it can be implemented using JAVA programming language. Her current research interests include IoT, Blockchain and DLT technologies, as well as their applications and implementations. Currently she is a junior researcher at the CoNSeRT team of UniWA.

Vasileios Doulgerakis Researcher - Embedded Systems and Electronics . Brief CV Vasileios Doulgerakis received his Electronics Engineering B.Sc. from the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences in 2016. He has several participations in intelligent car competitions as a student and a working experience for Cranfield University as a Visiting Researcher in robotics and sensors. His interests include Embedded Systems and Electronics Engineering. He has participated in several European and National research projects and is a Research Associate of CoNSeRT at the Electrical & Electronics Engineering Dept. of the University of West Attica since 2016.

Lazaros Toumanidis PhD Candidate . Brief CV Lazaros Toumanidis, has received his Electronics Engineering Bachelor's degree from the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences in 2014. He was honored with the "Anastasiadis Award" for having the highest grade (8.79 / 10) among the year 2014 graduates of the Department of Electronics. He has worked as a Software Engineer and has been a research associate of CONSERT since 2016. He has successfully participated in several European and National research projects. His research interests include Web, Mobile and Wearable Computing, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing and Crowds(ourc/ens)ing. Currently he is a PhD Candidate at the Department of  Electrical and Electronics Engineering of the University of West Attica on the topic of Human-in-the-loop Machine Learning for enhancing situational awareness.

Dimitrios Kalyvas Phd Candidate .   Brief CV Dimitris Kalyvas is a Ph.D student, on the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of University of West Attica, researching on the area of Cyber-physical Systems (CPS). Has an MSc Degree along with an Academic Excellence Award, in Internetworked Electronic Systems (2018) and a 4-year BSc Degree in Electronics Engineering (2014). He has a demonstrated history of working in R&D departments of the Electrical and Electronics manufacturing industry as a Microcontrollers - Embedded Systems Developer, Firmware and Software Developer. Currently, he  is a researcher of CONSERT since 2019. His research interests include Electronics (all of its kind), Cyberphysical Systems, Open Source Hardware/Software and Blockchain.

Evangelos Katsadouros Phd Candidate .     Brief CV Evangelos Katsadouros received his Computer Engineering Bachelor's degree from the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences in 2017 and he holds a master's degree from University of Piraeus in "Digital Systems Security". Currently he is a PhD Candidate at the Department of  Electrical and Electronics Engineering of the University of West Attica and the subject of his PhD is Network Security and Privacy. Also he is a research associate in CONSERT Lab, working as software/security engineer. His research interests include digital privacy, machine learning and software quality and testing.

Michael G. Xevgenis Post Doctoral Researchers .     Brief CV Michael Xevgenis is a Post Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Industrial Design and Production Engineering of the University of West Attica and holds a PhD Degree from the same department. The subject of his PhD research is the Secure Resource Management in Next Generation Networks, where the Blockchain technology is one of the main fields of this study. In addition, he is a Researcher at the Computer Network and Services Research Team (CONSERT) of the University of West Attica. His research concerns are on the Networking and Cloud Computing sector. The last few years he has participated in two EU projects: the TRILLION and the STORM of H2020. Finally, he holds the Master in Data and Networking Communications of Kingston University in collaboration with TEI of Piraeus.
